Winter Forest Bathing at Center for Wildlife
Join Kaneel, a Mindful Outdoor Guide, and the humans & wildlife ambassadors from the Center for Wildlife for the winter edition of our series of seasonal forest bathing events. Through this slow and mindful practice, you’ll deepen your relationship with yourself, the wildlife that lives around you, and the land we all inhabit. We’ll start with a seasonal tisane, and after some guided breathing and gentle movement, we will amble along the trail which passes through a mixed forest, ephemeral streams, sphagnum moss mats and a blueberry wetland. Kaneel will lead us in engaging our curiosity, awakening our senses, and enjoying the beauty of the Center for Wildlife campus and the foothills of Mount Agamenticus.
This program will be offered in Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer, stay tuned for future dates! By returning to the same space in all four seasons, we'rere able to align ourselves to the cyclical transformations of our landscape and animal behavior throughout the year.
Space is limited to 25 participants, pre-registration is required. No previous meditation experience is necessary, anyone 12+ is welcome!
