Rescue Run: Race for Marine Mammals features a 5k chip-timed trail race and un-timed walk to benefit Seacoast Science Center’s Marine Mammal Rescue Program. Now in its 15th year, this popular race follows the 5k cross-country trail route through Odiorne Point State Park, featuring varied terrain—you’ll run through the forest, by the rocky shore, across a sandy beach, and alongside historic military fortifications—and enjoy sweeping vistas of the Gulf of Maine and Little Harbor. Our run is the largest annual fundraising event to benefit our Marine Mammal Rescue program. We will cheer you on to the finish line as you support SSC’s wildlife conservation and educational outreach work.
