Kittery Trading Post's 16th Annual Food Round-Up

Kittery, ME - Kittery Trading Post is excited to announce it will be holding its 16th annual Food Round-Up on Friday, November 22nd, starting at 9am. Customers are encouraged to bring at least four non-perishable items to donate in exchange for a FREE KTP gift card. Gift cards are randomly given out and have a value anywhere from $10 to $500! Kittery Trading Post has committed to giving out 2,000 gift cards in hopes of making this the largest donation yet.

All the food that is collected is donated to Footprints Food Pantry in Kittery. The KTP food drive has become integral to keeping their shelves well-stocked through the holiday season and into the new year. The pantry has seen a drastic increase in households needing assistance. In just the past eight weeks, they have welcomed 87 new households to the Footprints community. With the increased need and the colder months arriving, Kittery Trading Post is seeking the public’s assistance with food donations to support the collective community and Footprints Food Pantry.

Several other local businesses have joined in by helping unload the truck once it arrives at Footprints, showcasing the solidarity within the local community. The spirit of giving is at the core of the Food Round-Up, and everyone's contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

Kittery Trading Post's Food Round-Up was created to provide holiday cheer and support those in our community who need a helping hand. Sixteen years later, the impact of the Food Round-Up on the local community is immeasurable. This event marks the start of the holiday season by bringing the spirit of giving to the forefront. When asked what he thought of this annual event, Kittery Trading Post co-owner Robert Adams quickly replied, “It’s my favorite event of the year!”
