Notary Public Services Now Available at the Town Hall Customer Service Center

The Town of Kittery is now offering Notary Public Services at the Town Hall Customer Service Center.  The service will be offered during normal business hours as follows:
 
  • Monday - Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
The fee for service is $5.00 per document up to three signatures/seals; thereafter it will be $2.00 per signature/seal.

Helpful Information:

  • All documents requiring notarization must be signed in the presence of the Notary.  Documents that have been signed prior to arriving at Town Hall, cannot be notarized.
  • If your document requires witness signatures in addition to notarization, please plan to bring the required number of witnesses with you to the office.
    • Witnesses for legal documents cannot be family members.
  • A valid photo ID is required for any signers requesting Notary Public services.
Services are dependent on staff availability.  Customer Service Center staff reserve the right to refuse notary service at any time.
