This workshop is designed for caregivers seeking a basic understanding of childhood anxiety. We’ll outline what it is, how it works, and what caregivers can do to support their worried child. Gina Apgar, LICSW is a clinical social worker with 20 years’ experience working with children and families in various roles including early education, home visiting, family support, healthcare, and advocacy. This free workshop is organized by and hosted at the Children’s Museum of NH as part of their Wonder & Wellness Speaker Series, sponsored by Kennebunk Savings Bank. Pre-registration is required for these workshops, which include a simple pizza dinner (5–5:30pm), as well as limited free childcare for ages 4 and up (must use bathroom independently) for participating families during the speaker presentation (5:30–6:30pm). https://childrens-museum.org/programs/wonder-and-wellness/
