York Winter Farmers' Market
The 2015/16 York Winter Farmers’ Market will take place on 9 Saturdays between November and April inside the Fellowship Hall of the First Parish Church (180 York Street), in York, Maine. The dates are as follows: Nov 21, Dec 12, Jan 9 & 23, Feb 6 & 20, Mar 5 & 19, April 2. The market runs from 9:00am - 1:00pm with 20-25 vendors each Saturday. Just like our summer market, this event is always free to attend.
The goal of this market is to support our local farmers, food-producers, artists & artisans, while offering a one-stop shopping experience for customers looking to buy their produce, milk, eggs, honey, syrup, cheese, breads, sweets, meats, seafood, and specialty foods for the week. The select crafters at this market offer handmade, local and unique gifts for you or someone special (especially during the holiday season)!
For the first time, the market is sponsored by SIS Bank; SIS Bank is a full-service bank committed to providing excellent service to individuals, families and businesses with all the 24/7 services the “big banks” have. SIS is proud of its commitment to giving back to the communities it serves while enjoying a long history of helping families and businesses achieve their financial goals. SIS is headquartered in downtown Sanford with 9 locations including the seacoast areas of Wells, York and now in New Hampshire on Islington Street in Portsmouth.
