Date:March 23, 2017

In the years leading up to the Revolution, York evolved from a frontier town and its influence spread both locally and regionally. The last two of the French wars of the 1740s and the 1750s, the pre-revolutionary politics in York, and the three phases of the Revolution from 1775 to 1783 will be discussed. This series is presented by York historian James Kences and co-sponsored by the Museums of Old York and the York Public Library.
