So...You Want To Be A Dog Trainer, presented by Canine Solutions Training Services
Have you ever thought…“I love dogs, maybe I should have a career in dog training?”
Attend this seminar, with CSTS owner/head trainer, Chris Fraize, and get a glimpse into the world of a professional dog trainer. This seminar will introduce you to:
- Interspecies communication
- Reading dog behavior
- Behavior rehabilitation
- Dog Sports
- Police K-9
- And much, much more
Teaching “sit”, “stay”, “down”,” heel”, and “come” is NOT all it takes to be a dog trainer. Why are rescue shelters at capacity? What does it take to be a successful trainer? Why "purely positive" doesn't really work? This eye-opening seminar is a realistic look into all aspects of a professional dog training business!
Chris has been professionally training dogs for more than 20 years. He specializes in canine behavior rehabilitation and has trained Police K-9 national qualifiers, weight pull national champions, therapy and agility dogs. He has given seminars on canine behavior problems, dog bite prevention, weight pull, dog sport, problem solving and more. Chris has been featured on Animal Planet, in Dog Sport Magazine and other national publications, radio, news and television programs. He has won a multitude of awards and certifications for training, judging and participating in canine competition. Chris is known for his common sense and comedic approach, making his training methods easy to understand and fun! He believes that balance based training is the best approach to communicating what you expect from your dog.
