Alzheimer's Association Volunteer Scribes Program

The Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter presents an overview of its programs and services, and introduces it's volunteer Scribes Program, where specially trained University of New Hampshire and Marshwood High School students will interview and write the life stories of those living with early stage dementia. Persons diagnosed with Alzheimer's or related dementia's are being sought as participants to provide meaningful insight about dementia to college students pursuing careers in health care. Potential participants will be screened for eligibility and participation will be completely private and confidential.
